If this ends with Netflix making some donation to a worthy cause, then fine. Nothing wrong with that. But, assuming that these employees genuinely wanted Netflix to remove the special, hopefully it shows some guts and leaves it up.

Good. If you don’t like it, don’t watch it.

I am terribly sorry that reality clashes with your feelings.

Nah, Dave is a genius. He has rightly pointed put that you can say anything you want about Black people and none cares, ‘cause its comedy’ ; make fun of the Alphabet Groups, you are literally the antichrist. The hypocrisy of some of you is fascinating. And comical.

The answer is always Crank 2. That shit is a stupid, ludicrous masterpiece.

Honest question: I was under the impression that JK Rowling’s “transphobic rhetoric” was quite similar to the position espoused by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, i.e. “trans women are trans women,” as (her words), “we should be able to acknowledge difference while being fully inclusive, that in fact the whole premise of

What bothers me more than the family connection is just how repetitive the new trilogy feels. TFA is basically a soft remake of the original movie, and then the last one borrows the family connection as leverage for trying to win the hero over to the dark side and a theoretically less powerful villain turning on the

You don’t get the magic of Star Wars.

He’s correctly rated. They get EXTREMELY gruesome. Like, literally the most ghoulish shit I’ve ever read. But in AWESOME way. I’m a fan.

Villeneuve didn’t go on some rant — a reporter asked him a question about Scorsese’s comment on Marvel movies (a question that has no relevance to Dune) and he answered honestly. Do you think anyone is asking you to apologize for your taste? This isn't a personal attack on you, you weirdo

You wrote a lot of words about how you don't care about something

You’re incredibly brave. It takes guts to stand up and say, “I enjoy Marvel movies!” in 2021. Bravo.

“I refuse to apologize” is an even worse hot take, though. No one is personally attacking you. No one has pressured you to apologize.

Ingmar Bergman loves the MCU and is just waiting for the green light for his Invisible Woman standalone starring Liv Ullman.

Folks, I don’t know what else you want to hear, but most auteur directors just aren’t going to like Marvel movies. I don’t know why we keep trying to wring more Discourse out of this.

I would love to love Amber Ruffin’s show, she really has a host-worthy presence, so I watched this clip and a bunch of others, and this show has some BAD writing. This DAAYUM bit feels like it would be passed up on SNL.

Awesome. Love the show.

Most of his takes are thoughtful and well thought out and i do agree with most of them, and he’s still funny.
