No One Knows if he’s really capable of it.

It’s worth noting that “SAG-AFTRA” is an anagram for “Fart Saga”.
Courtney Love so obviously suffers from a personality disorder and I don’t think that can be separated from her art or public perception. For a time she was an often talented songwriter and performer and she was also ambitious and capitalized on the tragic aspects of her life. A lot of people have done that. I’d also…
Can we talk about Adam West instead? Because I wouldn’t mind doing that.
Just. Don’t. Tweet. That’s the main lesson here. There is literally no upside to using Twitter in 2021.
Audiences didn’t get to fully grasp the important cinematography of scenes where Wonder Woman is still hung up over a guy she did her first mission with for a week 40 years ago (but her FIRST male she ever met) or that she non-consensually had sex with a guy who got possessed by her dead first male acquaintance…
After WW’84 I wouldn’t hire her to write a commercial. Her direction was competent so she could direct said commercial, just not write it.
At least she got seen. I feel bad for all the filmmakers who lost their shot when the festivals they were supposed to screen at were cancelled, and they lost their audiences with them.
The popular meaning of “cancel culture” is a disproportionate response of excessive punishment for a trivial offense like a person’s expressed thoughts. Um, it’s not really a defense to be used for allegations of actual violent criminal behavior. No one really said, “That Bill Cosby was a victim of cancel culture.”
Yah she still sounds like an asshole.

Oddly enough, I think it was the influence of experimental Eastern European and British animators. Klasky Csupo, highly influenced by this stuff, were pioneers of innovative, edgy “non-Disney” animation styles in the late 80s early 90s animation boom (Rugrats, Early Simpsons, Duckman). They and their contemporaries est…
I was actually going to mention in my post how we DON’T hear that Sweet Laurel Canyon Sound around here anymore, thanks for proving me wrong!
Like the haunting Laurel Canyon sounds of Dawes!
It should be seen as a clever troll- it even elicited a “they were paid actors!” response out of one of the attendees in regards to people singing along. It’s their apparent go-to response whenever something demonstrates that they’re actually the morally reprehensible ones (see: their claims about school shootings).
And have an episode where Springfield is hit with a cloud of toxic gas, and all the characters that get recast were caught in it, explaining why they sound different.
Also, as always whenever some bit of news or trouble comes along that makes it seem even more financially/socially/creatively difficult to keep the Simpsons on the air for another year, I can only respond:
I think it’d be fun if they went with completely different voices that sound nothing like the originals. Don’t just give us a black voice actor doing an impression of Harry Shearer doing an impression of Cosby. Give JB Smoove the role and let him use his normal voice. It would give us a reason to look forward to the…
“On a less progressive note, there’s no getting past the overwhelming whiteness of the interview subjects”
Yeah, I guess it was shortsighted for them to only interview people *actually* involved. Maybe instead they should’ve pretended that some of the victims were POC so that they could be more balanced?
JFC, it’s god…
