Uzumaki is absolutely amazing, and this isn't being made by the same studio that did the super mediocre "Junji Ito Collection" anime so colour me cautiously optimistic

I think as time went on and new players came in people started to forget Arneson. Gygax’s name was on everything, so of course people were going to assume it was all Gary. It was kind of inevitable I guess.

Kuntz has never come across as particularly jealous to me. When he talks about this it seems like he honestly unhappy with how Gygax treated Arneson.

Exactly this. It’s nice that the pendulum has swung back to recognizing Arneson more, although not to the level he truly deserved.

I would watch the hell out of that show.

Okay but will it have Recess?

I hadn’t heard the the Grant Morrison script got rejected but that’s a damn shame.

I don’t think that’s a thing. And he’s got a very soothing voice.

Counterpoint: Cloud Atlas is one of the best films ever made!

Well you've never steered be wrong before!

Well you've never steered be wrong before!

Okay, but which character is the one that never wears shoes?

If Tom Bombadil isn’t in it what is even the point?

This season has meandered so much that last week felt like the first real plot episode. It doesn’t help that they added two new villains at the last minute: one boring, one boring and pointless.

I liked the French dude when it was just "here's a zombie gendarme that shows up sometimes" but he can't really hold down chief antagonist duties.

Getting Koichi Sugiyama to allow even some of the music to be orchestral was probably like pulling teeth.

It’s pretty classic Ennis, in that the stuff that’s good is really good, but there’s also a lot of stuff that is either really bad or that just doesn’t add anything to the story. Plus you have the characters talk about how much they hate or love something that Ennis hates or loves every once in a while.

I wouldn’t say god-awful, but on the decline. Definitely not as good as, say, Tuca and Bertie.

Keep Dustin, Lucas, and Max, because part of Steve’s charm is in the cool big brother thing he’s got going on. Ditch Everybody else though.

Barb’s entire contribution to the show was trying to stop Nancy from having sex with a guy she wanted to have sex with and then dying because she was too incompetent to shotgun a beer. What a great character!

I haven't seen Legion, but I'm going to say yes anyway.
