Alan Moore would like to think so, but that’s because he’s delusional and self-important. Grant Morrison’s work is completely different than Moore’s in terms of content, tone, themes, and ideas. Plus he was writing comics first, so if anything Alan Moore is a Grant Morrison tribute band.

While I’m basically okay with the move away from turn based combat (I really enjoyed the combat in 12 and 13), Dragon Quest XI proves that turn based still works.
