While electrical heating for the car would be nice (my Mustang takes like ten miles of driving before I have heat), the electrical draw would be HUGE, and would require larger and larger alternators, which would increase drag on the engine, which would lower fuel economy. The system currently used, where engine

I'll never forget the first and only time I was allowed to sit in one. A friend of one of my detailing customers stopped by while I was detailing an AMG SLS Gullwing (rough day, I know...). As cool as the SLS was, a genuine F1 was just pure fap material. He let me sit behind the wheel and see the VAST expanse of

Nothing a set of Tubis can't fix.

live right around the block from this. shits crazy

GM needs to do their best to keep this guy. Clearly he knows what he's doing, has a passion for the brand and has determination. All things that make for a great leader.

I currently drive a CTS V Sport, my first car was a VW Beetle which I owned for less than 24 hours before I rolled it. Not a great start.

No, yeah you should watch it. Gung-Ho is a classic because it's '80s movie funny. It's a classic Michael Keaton/Ron Howard movie. Plus it has Gedde Watanabe from 16 Candles (Long Duk Dong) and George Wendt from Cheers and Fletch.

yes you should. An early film showcasing the talent of an up and coming Ron Howard. Michael Keaton and some Japanese actor that I'm sure was never heard from again. Whats not to love

turbo noise

Shame this is a tree hearse.

"We need a name that conjures up electricity, or electronics. You know, an e-name."

It is seriously pathetic that the manufacturers of ultra high dollar supercars which are supposed to do things like race each other refuse to do so and then on top of that restrict owners who have spent their damn money from doing what they please with their cars. I used to love Ferraris when I was younger, now I

I get what you're saying. I don't mind if they do the comparison, it's just that I don't care who wins. This type of angels dancing on the head of pin navel gazing seems to miss the point of these cars. If you're going to buy these cars for your own enjoyment, the difference between them in time on one test track

The easiest solution is to select Spa or Monza as the track, set the rules as 15 laps in a row and then take the average lap time or the last lap's time. In that case Porsche will be the one who refuses, and LaFerrari can't wait to give a car for the test.

So basically...

RIP to one of the last soul-possessing designers in Japanese autos. And very timely as I just this very second walked past a beautiful 72 model (dat orange!). These things are really rare in the South, at least compared to say the West Coast. I'll see a dozen Tesla Model S or 911 GT3 for every 70s Z I notice...in

I think it is able to do that, since the way the belt is laying across the cones(and thus the position of the cones) is controlled centrifugally and separately for both sides, and thus allows for different wheel speeds. Also the diff allows for differing speeds at the primary cones.

The 50s.
