I was 9 when he got it in the first place haha, and we already had a house. He sold it to help pay for their dream house.

Don’t feel too bad for me hahaha

O_O had not considered that...... Do you think it’d even be possible to incite pity... for a doctor (dad’s a doctor — definitely not poor — but definitely cannot afford his old Miura)?

Having finally gotten my first COTD, after more than 5 years reading this site, I’m pleased the most by the unofficial recognition from the famous $kaycog. <3

I’m coming to terms with that now. I’ve made an adorable 1984 Alfa Romeo GTV-6 mine instead :)

He got it in ‘94, I believe, when I was 9 years old. He had it for a few years, and then my parents wanted to build their dream home so it was time to clean out the garage. They’d had 12 cars around that time and sold most of them; a Maserati Bora, a Bricklyn, a Jaguar Mark II, a Triumph TR4, a Triumph GT6+, and some

Thank you!

I think I’m going to be sick. That Miura was my father’s. Number 4906. He sold it to help pay for the family home in 1997... for less than 10% of what it would go for these days. I’m terrified to think of how expensive it has become, because it is my ambition to get it back for my family some day.

I hope it doesn’t sound the same as Maserati’s turbo 6. Is it the same motor?

#COTD is now really your thing lol

The only audio player I found that has plugins for Nintendo, SNES, and N64 sound files.

*Whips?

Wasn’t the original Beetle an appliance? They weren’t trying to make it weird...

I’m sorry you didn’t like everyone jumping on you, but I said nothing unintelligent.

I drive an Impreza 2.5i with the EJ-253. It is a SOHC 16 valve with an open deck. Thus you cannot “Slap some extra goodies on it and ... get the STi’s EJ257.” Besides the fact that the EJ-257 is a DOHC and the naturally aspirated EJ-253 is SOHC, the blocks are different. The SOHC open deck version of the EJ series are

I love to see a car’s anus.

God, GT-Rs are fast.

Now playing

Wow, that takes me back to high school when I used to listen to stuff like that; Symphony X, Vinny Moore, Yngwie Malmsteen, Dream Theater, and all that Guilty Gear XX music...
