I think you’re right, and that is good sports car design... not engineering genius haha

HAHahaha

Well, the Regera is definitely innovative. However, I don’t want to give them credit for it until it’s in production.

Not a biker myself, but why are stoppies “stupid”? They look cool and fun. Do you hate fun?

Alright, I agree with all of that. Hennessey would be a perfect example of a company that take conventional tech and packages it in an extreme and expensive way. Koenigsegg is better than that, for sure. Their will to tinker is quite admirable.

It’s not in production, therefore it still doesn’t work. It needs to comply with emissions regulations, operate with sufficient longevity OR at least maintainability for a road car, and all while performing sufficiently better than conventional engines to justify the production cost. Just because Koenigsegg made a

The reason no one else made a camless engine yet is that the tech needed to make it work doesn’t exist, and if GM and VW can’t do it, neither can a small boutique super car maker.

YES YES YES This is exactly how I feel. I worked in aerospace engineering for a little while, and I have a friend who works as a powertrain engineer at Toyota. So I think I have some insight into what constitutes brilliant engineering. CVK is a good businessman. He built a cache brand that can afford to throw together

The camless engine has not been applied to any production cars, only test mules. And while it is a great idea, it is far from a new one. Mechanics in the 1800s knew it would be nice if they could do things without a camshaft. Giant auto companies like VW and GM know it too. Why do you think they haven’t done it?

Seen ‘em. Not convinced. The One:1 is a heavily boosted car with lots of carbon fiber.

Why does everyone say Koenigsegg and Christian Von K imbue engineering genius into their cars? I don’t see it, personally. I see a well made powerful, but conventional car.

“May contain content...” Says the disclaimer. That’s just ugly.

My favorite picture I took in the Geisha district of Kyoto 5 years ago.

It looks happy in a naughty way. The Miata now has bedroom eyes above that smile.

I was offended by your Chris Harris impression.

Too bad you don’t have an H1 Alpha. 300hp and 600+ lb-ft really helps them move.

Now playing

I like new stuff composed for gameboy even more.

I’m not a lawyer, but I think wearing camo cargo shorts is a felony.

Also, it’s ‘you’re-a-peeins’, not ‘your-a-peeins’.
