close enough?

Anton Yelchin was killed by his own Jeep because of bad shifter design.

It’s English feet. So it’s not actually 72 inches. It’s more like 3/4 of a hogsbead or 3-1/2 snapwoozles.

most people have no idea where the corner of their cars are

It’s pretty simple—if you know you’re narrow enough to fit, you get your driver’s side just short of touching the barrier on your side then you’ll know damn well the far side will clear. Those people are all too lacking in spatial intelligence for driving.

I want one with a barbecue grill built into it.

Paddle shifter graph:

Elon was nothing 25 years ago

The top 1% of Americans hold ~34% of the wealth. They’ve obviously done a very good job building wealth despite “not holding enough votes.” Compounding this is that these are the people most likely to be hiding wealth in offshore accounts.

Tell me you don’t know about portfolio loans without telling me you don’t know about portfolio loans.

Then why are tax rates half of what they were 60 years ago?

There’s a reason it’s called a logical fallacy.

You mean like the $1 Billion in assets, or $100 Million in capital gains in three consecutive years threshold that’s in the bill? Something like that? So this bill would only impact 700 people in the entire country and not come even remotely close to affecting any non-Musk/non-Bezos or their ilk?

This will fuck every American trying to save for their future.

There is absolutely no plan to tax the 401k of middle class Americans, full stop. The threshold for the tax is tens of millions of dollars, but thanks for the scare tactics.

Oddly enough, as a regular person with a regular job, I pay quite a bit of my income in taxes, percentage-wise. Somewhere to the tune of nearly 30%, between federal and state (not including sales, etc.).

You mean to tell me that this Pedoguy doesn’t want to pay taxes?

She’s childish. Everything about her is immature, from the way she dresses to the way she ignores her constituents. She’s someone who wants all the attention, like a child, but then doesn’t know what to do with it or how to manage it. She can’t back up her policy positions, she can’t back up her professional wardrobe

I agree. There is no personal style with this one, no through line to her clothes. Like, I can look at an outfit and say to myself “That looks like something Katie Porter would wear.” or “That’s a Nancy Pelosi look.” or “That’s an AOC outfit.” That’s because most people have clothing preferences, colors/cuts/similar

Was there no warning sign?
