At a certain point, washing dishes by hand in hot water becomes very uncomfortable and a little dangerous.  Older hands in particular aren’t as anxious for that task.  Handwashing pots & pans doesn’t present the same challenges as glassware & utensils.  Snow birds and condo dwellers might find this device useful.
