I wonder when reviewers will get the game and how long before launch (if at all) they can publish the review. It’d be an enormous amount of goodwill towards the pre-order sales and would show confidence in this statement.

I mean, Doom 2016 played rather well, but seeing the minimum requirements for Eternal got me worried.

One of my previous cars was a Citroen C4 Coupe, with a max speed of 190, but if I got above 170km/h. Suddenly the aerodynamics took over and the car transformed from an almost scary floaty low flying monstrosity, to a downforce supported race car. It’s just as if the car was suddenly in its element on the autobahn…

On the one hand, I completely understand why people pit these two cars against eachother. On the other hand... They’re different cars (big comfy saloon that’s fast vs. fast saloon), with a different purpose (sell huge numbers of cars vs. have an electric alternative to the panamera)  for a different audience (price).

Simple business strategy. you need to make more profit every year, otherwise the shareholders will dump you. China is now that possibility for expansion, so every company does whatever it needs to, to please their future customers.

As a Dutchman I don’t get the emissions war right now in the US. If I understand correctly, the California emissions standards are not as strict as those in Europe or other countries right? So why not simply go with the California rules. If a car is cleaner than regulation tells you to make it, that’s not a crime…

A lot of people _think_ they need more than 112 miles per day. I don't either, but then I wouldn't be able to visit my friends or family, who all live about 70-80 miles away. And at none of them would it be easy or practical to recharge.

I should definitely get a picture like that with my Smart Roadster. There aren't that many big trucks here in the Netherlands though.

I recently discovered https://kurviger.de/en thanks to Reddit. They also have a free & paid app for Android (I believe iOS as well). It’s an actual route-planning tool which allows you te set curves vs. speed.
