This is really the only way I can do it. He just Dismisses anybody who disagrees with him, and that’s why he’s always the top Commenter on every single AVC article pertaining to South Park, and it always spawns the same, tired debate. If he was arguing in good faith, he wouldn’t Dismiss our Replies, would he?

I’m not, I just have better shit to worry about. Dentists and doctors cosplaying as biker gangs on their toys has no bearing on my existence; and while that was a weird thing for Trey and Parker to harp on, and was definitely a dated joke when they made it, I hardly see that as a reason to make it one’s sole-purpose

Counting down to before Laserface gets here and posts another repetitive anti South Park rant.

Laserface has frequently talked shit about me and dismisses any attempt I make to reply to one of his posts, but I don’t think this kind of vitriol is a good way to reply.

@Laserface1242:

The Royale, with cheese.

Nah. And I’m sure there are more instances like that behind the “straw that broke the camel’s back.

I’m resisting judgment, as maybe his mother was legitimately abusive and this is all Tarantino feels comfortable in sharing, but in this exchange he sure comes across as spiteful and emotionally stunted.

Peter Capaldi’s ‘Thinker’ was truly a wasted opportunity.

That dude is the absolute worst. Someone in a past thread once said that no one sums up the AV Club’s transformation from an awesome, fun place to a toxic and miserable one quite like him.

Glad I got here before a certain commenter comes along and complains about how awful this show is and how it ruined society because he doesn’t like 4 specific episodes.

Well, what an interesting take.

Ghostbusters 2016 was not a perfect movie and maybe did not need to be made.

“Angry men on the internet will have to deal with yet another Ghostbusters movie being centered around women, but hey, you’ll live.”

rmlohner does get that this is a trailer, right? I mean, I absolutely get the whole attachment they have to this franchise from watching the other films I guess, but I don’t think we should treat how a trailer is cut as fully indicative of the final cut, and perhaps trailers shouldn’t give away the more entertaining

“Really seems to be reaching for the snark” describes just about every article the AV Club puts up these days.

Spy movies aren’t necessarily all that respected, either.  But I see your point.  People definitely made much more of the “paranoid 70s thriller” comparisons when CA:TWC came out.

People who say it’s a “spy movie” only say they because they want their comic book movie to have the same sort of respect that spy movies get in the mainstream.

You really can’t see the difference between Weird Science, Ghost World, as opposed to MOST OF the formulaic recent Marvel or DC movies?

This one always grinds my gears.  CA:TWS is in no way a “spy” movie if that term is to have any meaning.  It has a similar tone to SOME spy movies, but that’s about as far as you can take.
