Ditto for the Scientologists and the Mormons with their respective episodes. Hell, I thought their episodes on climate change…

This is horseshit. In none of those episodes is Mohammed treated or depicted in a disrespectful fashion, and in “Cartoon Wars” the other characters comment on how benign the guy’s appearance actually is. The entire point was to emphasize how batshit insane it is to listen to fanatics of any stripe.

That’s the problem with revisionism. Even though you know logically that this movie’s concepts have aged about as well as cheese in a cask of vinegar, historical deconstructionists ( I.E. Liars) will tout the film's age as proof of authenticity.

Please never let me meet the person who looks at this and thinks “Yes. This is helpful.” More to the point, please never let me meet the black person who looks at this and thinks “Yes. This is an important victory in the struggle against racism.”

I don’t think the table read can match that Darkest Timeline podcast bonus surprise. It was really lovely seeing them all together, and they all seemed to really enjoy it, too. Which is more than you could say for other “reunion” type thing(looking at you, Parks and Rec).

For a show that went ten seasons it sure has died a death in the public consciousness.

That might be the furthest I’ve ever seen a writer get up his own ass.  At the very least, Harmon deserves credit for that.
