I am going to go out on a limb here and say the entire reason the driver in the car was going slow was due to the sun glare, really unfortunate he had to learn that adage the hard way.

This happened right next to my work, there may not have been any fatalities during the incident but there was one afterwards. With all the traffic backed up many motorists were turning around and heading the opposite way, one person did this apparently without looking and struck a motorcyclist that was traveling…
