I really, really want to visit old school outland. I got my proper start in TBC, so that’s the one I hold dear to my heart, but I also realize that releasing an expansion is a slippery slope. 

I agree, I still miss some of the QoL improvements like a better quest tracker, or being able to at least hover over a mob and see if they dropped what I need.

The totally useless gear sets also make no sense. Like, you have this higher tier gear with a relatively low drop chance, and it’s more or less completely useless unless you only do pvp.
Doing the raid? Forget about using the gear set pieces. It makes absolutely no sense.
