Disney is the party that did the bad thing in this scenario but the larger media industry on the whole has been obsessed with harvesting luxury bucks from people who want to recapture better days.

roblox is on the list.... so glad i never spawned a kid im responsible for. Being a modern parent must be like living the moral quandaries from the entire star trek franchise.
The harry potter game. Thats the shame. The books were pretty nice reading material for many young adults and i would still recommend them. When i do now though it comes with a warning along the lines of “dont get too involved the fandom is toxic”
Im ashamed to be a millenial specifically for stuff like this. We grew up in a truly great era for young adult fiction and it just turned us into a bunch of disney sluts.
I see what youre saying. I think youre right too, my complacency as a customer leans to justify mild slights like what you mentioned. (like how i picked up games that had both copies by default because i bought them all on sale)
almost 1500 hours (some of that has gotta be my lady, she went through spider man and like a third of the way through persona5)
Man I missed that whole thing. Remember enough about the article you could tell me what to search? I’m not sure I wanna strike out into the ether with directions that read “mobile game guy”
I don’t believe in free markets or any plight to justice over shares of markets.
So i swapped over to playstation for the PS4 after going through 4 xbox 360s. For me that was a pretty bitter pill to swallow. I still opted for ps5 despite all the great things i hear about game pass. I did consider swapping back though so i was wondering why you say that sony employs cheap and predatory practices.
its reasonable as a deal alone in a vacuum. When you think about it in reality things dont make alot of sense and the price hike starts to seem pretty arbitrary.
Im not sure thats the motivation for arguments like this. Like its not a logical thought process. The original post comes down to a plight to deligitmate criticism through hyocrisy on the part of the criticiser not because any potential criticism of microsoft might be wrong.
I dont give a shit about the law. We should know better than to let financially large parties abuse their wealth and power to silence information they dont want people to know.... this is basic social good type stuff.
Bogus excuse. You can contribute to the world in more ways than criticism. You have every opportunity to apologize for offending that person no matter what your intention in your criticism was.
I tried it. I got to the point where you rescue your buddy after the zombpocoplypse happens and tapped out. Bad experience up to that point.
This is basically where im at too. I rarely had any fun at all with fromsoft multiplayer. Basically my experiences are a pendulum that swings between awful connection issues and toxic gameplay griefing.
Plenty of wage earners and contract employees make enough to be able to afford the kind of luxury you might describe as rich.
25 dollars an hour to work in your home on your power in your computer with your materials and licenses for editing software.
its not the corporate position that people find outrageous its the value propositioning of a professional that chose to speak out.
your comparison is backwards. Fortnite is the purchasing party that does in fact want to pay a single uniform price just like fast food.... if all the loading screens were the same then this would make sense.
man people are taking issue with your characterization of wealth. The image of wealth has changed in the past few years and many people are no longer willing to admit intelligence on the part of the wealthy based exclusively on their wealth.
