For me its about the quality of my distraction. Ive got a pretty busy brain so unless i NEED to think about the thing thats supposed to be distracting then ill usually daydream about the things im trying to distract from.

Its because they refused to engage with transitive concepts that you now take for granted as ready knowledge like animation cancelling.

With more nuance now: Is it worthwhile more or less to behave in a certain way? The answer to this is obviously yes.

The open world issue is i think summed up best at about six minutes into the above clip.... Like Sonic just runs straight up a massively steep cliff, loses no speed, does no jump, nothing.... just bloop now im running almost straight upward.

i feel you. Ive chatted with my spouse about cancelling ours too pretty well for the same reasons.

man dave chappelle is paid to speak... we dont owe him any effort on our part to understand what he tried to say. He just should have said it better.... or like i said apologized.

The rage is likely a consequence of the informed consumer mentality that has become popular recently. I assume the rage will calm down and the people who actually care that most things we buy are designed to trick us will have a clearer opinion voiced at large.

Youre also an individual with no special platform... this guy is a journalist with a platform that specifically is for criticising video games.
