The last big sonic game i enjoyed was adventure 2. Ive tried to give lots of them a shake but honestly its like after the wii/360 games flopped the developers just forgot what sonic was or something....
It has also helped me to instantly uninstall most games with immersion breaking glitches.

If i was making a game that was nothing like BotW i would just throw lime green grass into the trailer to pick up some easy fanboy bucks and make the game i wanted.... anything less would be like refusing free money.
