I absolutely hate the recent drive to character customization. It’s kinda superfluous and fun in third person games but why bother with first person titles when what you give up is so important?

I had the same experience and I feel zero guilt. Given the ease of access I have enjoyed for almost a decade as an Xbox and PlayStation user (went 360 to PS4) Nintendo has no excuse for its anti consumer and anti competitive behaviour.

Again those are more distinctions than differences. I played all the metroids. Prime was top for me and plenty of others. The same was true of ocarina and the Zelda series for plenty of folks.

Seems super questionable to include rainbow and not use man on the silver mountain. 

I guess thanks go to gokartmozart for the correction but if im being honest from a fan perspective that seems like a distinction more than a difference. As far as a failed IP though?! Did you play the two N64 B&K games?

Its not that i lament personal nostalgia, more that where the nostalgia of folks your age pays dividends the nostalgia of folks my age is only ever a critical judge.

I grew up with nintendo and was just the right age to be completely overwhelmed by the prime trilogy. Because of this im not sure they could top the nostalgia.

I am super fine with people disliking celebrities. I need no reason other than the fact they have wealth and public interest but don’t use that power for social good.
