her turn as the mother in Easy A was revelatory.

Heh, I think I will be using these before I record my weekly podcast. I mean my neighbors think I am absolutely insane as it is, might as well put a cherry on it.

Counterpoint: It’s a foul ball off the bat of Jay Bruce in a meaningless game.

Counterpoint: It’s a foul ball off the bat of Jay Bruce in a meaningless game. Not really worth almost dropping your infant child.

She snatched that kid away from him exactly like a person who just realized who they are married to.

You need a tag for ‘Kids ruin everything’

Dude catches a goddamn foul ball, and his wife gets to give him shit about it for frickin’ eternity.
There is no former joy from your past life that a baby cannot extinguish.

I got it that the cast is limited by the original movie, but damn that’s a lot of white people.

I loved that movie so much - like, I decided I was going to change my whole approach to life after I saw it and take charge like Sue Ellen and live life like a boss (I was 13). That lasted about two days, but my love for the movie endures.

There seems to be a fuzzy divide between those who prefer the movie and those who prefer the prequel series. I thought the movie was relentlessly meh, but the series was fanfuckintastic.

Oh my god will Netflix ever get off the nostalgia train?

I work in a university teaching hospital for OB-GYN, and we have CNMs. They’re covered by insurance, just like most other licensed healthcare providers.

That’s cute. Paul Ryan can barely get in his daily P-90 workout in between all the special interest cock he sucks, but the Wisconsin GOP is pointing fingers.

Can I just say that I am so sick of people insulting religious people who believe in an “invisible sky-God”? You don’t believe? That’s fine! However, that’s no reason to insult everyone’s who believes in God. Contrary to your draconian beliefs, it’s possible to be religious and support science and liberal beliefs.

You mean we might actually get her outta here if this ratings trend continues?

Could we get an edit on that headline and remove the word “captured”? She was a young girl, not an escaped convict or an animal that needed to be picked up somewhere. She was not captured. She was abducted. She was kidnapped and murdered.

I’m feel the same, on the one hand, she clearly broke this young man down, and the ‘get back in the car’ part is incredibly damaging. But what sort of precedent does it set for the future that you could be convicted of manslaughter without actually physically harming someone. I mean, I think she got the verdict she

I am also surprised! I thought she was hugely morally culpable but that it might be a tough sell legally.

But I can’t help noticing that the “landmark” case for social media and texting jeering is a young woman.

I honestly don’t know how I feel about this verdict. I mean, everything I’ve read about the case tells me this girl is horrible and morally culpable, but I just don’t know enough about the law to say whether she’s legally culpable. And even if she is, I don’t know that I think she should be.
