I’m drooling. What’s the darkest place in the midwest?

This. Is. Awesome.

May we all be as outspoken as that student.

I’ll have to remember this the next time I’m hyperventilating before my own job interview :)

We’re already at the interview stage, but yes, I agree. It’s paramount to reach out to diverse groups of people first.

That’s a good one—I’d add it to our list rather than replace the question we’re trying to rework though.

I really want to make a career switch from govt to tech, but I have no idea where to start. Every tech career position I look at is described in terms I fear I need a whole other degree for...though I’m certain I’m bright enough to start out in a low place and work my way up in the right place. Need some help. We’re hiring right now and I’m searching high and low for interview questions that gain insight on applicants’ approach to diversity and inclusion. Know anything good to throw our way?

Goose Island is largely owned by Anheuser-Busch—it could follow suit, unless AB wants to maintain the illusion to the public that Goose Island is a craft beer.

If I were there, I’d say loudly to the kid “Hey kiddo—That rock doesn’t go in your mouth—it belongs on the ground!” hoping the parents would catch on before I’d have to take a step forward.

Ugh. I work in one of these ancient monsters. Nothing says slow unyielding government red tape like one of these brutal babies. They keep saying they’ll tear my building down in the next decade, but I’m doubtful. Even if they do, they’re so clueless we’d go right to cube farms.

Do you have access to a rowing machine? It would have the added benefit of stretching your knees while defining your arms/back.

Holy cripes—I hadn’t even heard about Gannon’s proposal. Thanks for sharing.

This needs to be out of the grays. I fully agree: we need a strategic plan for pulling our country together. I’m sick of seeing people die and struggle while people infight and ideological camps crack further apart.

Yup—dividing ourselves is guaranteed implosion. It’s almost like the Right wants end times.

Black lives matter. Front and center. That’s my comment.
