I would really like to know the answer to this question. Some of my earliest memories are of my mom practically strapping my sister and me down to chairs so we would sit still for our holiday perms. Just a whiff of that stuff sends me right back to my childhood.

Commenting on my appearance more than once. A brief compliment is nice, but commentary extending beyond that makes me think they’re only interested in knocking boots, not getting to know me.
