No, thank you.

It’s a mark on both their revords, for sure. Sanders isn’t perfect, but as far as I know he has no history of racist dog-whistling, though.

Hillary lobbied hard for that bills passage, up to and including referring to minority children as “super-predators.”. She did not exactly sit there quietly as it was passed.

“BURN IN HELL LADY!!”

The problem is that it really calls her entire body of work into question when she reveals that powerful women act the same way as powerful men and that maybe, just maybe, this all has a lot less to do with gender identity and a lot more to do with wealth and privilege.

I love my negro nose with Jackson Five Nostrils.

It’s amazing. I was accused of being an MRA for simply stating that economic issues ARE womens issues and that white feminists are dismissive of the issues us non white women are facing daily.

I found that jaw-dropping. I know these formidable women belonged to a different wave of feminism than I belong to, but to suggest that anyone who isn’t aligned with a rich white warmongering corporatist is a bad feminist smacks of a worldview that is wholly unfamiliar with intersectional feminism, really any sort of

JFC

And once again we see leftists turning on each other. (Not that Bill was anything other than a charismatic Neo-liberalist.)

Great article, I thought this section captured it perfectly:

Oddly enough, none other than Madaline Albright and Gloria Steinem came out as sexist ‘Hillbros’ this weekend. My mom was especially pissed at what the former SecState said. Implying that women who don’t vote for Hillary are hellbound is a horrible thing to say.

I only saw one male student get that disrespectful with one of my lady professors. The whole class was like, “dude, come on, no...” and the tension was so thick, but then he persisted and just pushed her over the top in the middle of her lecture. She pointed at the door and said GET THE FUCK OUT OF MY CLASSROOM AND DO

Right, because women faculty members are only there to satisfy the male gaze, not to teach or anything like that.

I think older white feminists can suck it b/c they fail at being intersectional. I could care less about HRC or Albright.

Heck, as a Bernie fan, I can recognize that Clinton herself has overcome plenty of adversity and broken a lot of barriers for women. Same goes for Steinem and Albright.

That said, being a badass lady doesn’t protect you from criticism, particularly when you are insulting and belittling the women you claim to fight for.

Now playing

Ah yes, the same Madeline Albright who said 500000 Iraqi children who died over sanctions was ‘worth it’.

Or some women (like myself) might feel that Sanders would be a better candidate to address women’s issues in addition to the many other aspects of our government. Really frustrating as a feminist to be told by other so-called feminists what my opinions are and where they derive from. It’s so belittling. Much like

LOL @ these rich white feminists demanding we support Hillary. Senator Nina Turner told an interesting story about how she was scolded like a child by her female colleagues for endorsing Bernie.
