Weirdly, I enjoyed Apocalypse a lot. More than Civil War in fact. I think it is because I don’t give a shit about the X-Men, so I just enjoyed the fun ride. By contrast, I give a shit about the MCU, so a movie that is for all intents and purposes a two hours hero vs hero slugfest with no villain bugged me a lot.
