Gotta disagree on The Sopranos. The whole second season was building towards the last 2 episodes, and The Knight In White Satin Armor remains one of my alltime favorite episodes of TV. To have the Janice/Richie and Tony/Richie plots come together the way they did.... just perfect.

I stopped reading this story as soon as you said “I keep black widow spiders” because I can only imagine where this goes, and if I have to visualize those things that I THINK I might visualize I will have a panic attack. Just me visualizing me visualizing something else is making me squirm

Robb stark never killed peasants the way Tywin did at Harrenhall. He also makes a big deal of keeping prisoners alive, which made the Boltons and Karstarks say “youre being too honorable!”

Of course it would’ve worked, but the whole point is that “conquering isn’t the same as ruling”. What good is it being Queen of the Iron Throne, if the entire kingdom is ashes?

Uhhh, C.C. isn’t defending slavers. The show DOES make a point of telling us that not everyone who she nailed to posts had to do with slavery and some of them tried to stop it. The show has repeatedly shown that sometimes (in fact most times) Dany’s all or nothing tactics are in fact bad.

So in the books they do a much better job of portraying this than the show, but yes the whole point of Dany as a character is SUPPOSED to be that she is actually not a good ruler, even though she has good intentions.
