Was it the 3rd? I couldve sworn it was 4th quarter. *shrug*

Jesus, I forgot about that, what with all the madness of the 2nd half!! Holy crap those points were HUGE down the road.
The problem is they were down 4 and not 3, so if Hill kneels at the 1 there’s no guarantee theyll get the touchdown. If the Chiefs had gone for 2 earlier to tie the game up when down 8 like they should’ve, they could have been in a position to settle for a field goal on that drive.
Maybe. I just keep seeing the ripple effect of that lost extra point. If they’re down 3 instead of down 4, maybe Tyreek’s touchdown isn't as necessary and they can tie the game with a FG without giving the Pats enough time to engineer their own drive, for example.
If they trust their offense so much, though, why not trust them to convert a 2 yard attempt?
At the very least though, that is a common tactic. I at least understand the rationale behind taking the “guaranteed” tie instead of gambling to go for the lead, although I do love it when coaches call for a walkoff 2pt conversion.
Why didnt the Chiefs go for 2 to tie the game in the 4th quarter? Down 8 you get the TD, and they still went for 1.
They really are!
Of COURSE they are willing to to screw over other people if they don’t feel welcome.
I’ve had “Winner Takes It All” by ABBA stuck in my head all week. Damn you, Better Call Saul!
None of which you said is wrong. So do the calling out AFTER WE’VE WON ELECTIONS. Don’t push her (and the inevitable fans who would follow her) to the other side before those votes are cast!
... No, the best part is the phenomenal YAC.
It IS noteworthy, in that a great many people aren’t even doing that bare minimum. We need allies, and we need numbers. We can do a litmus test for who is a true ally or whatever later, after the government is run by people who want to actually live in the 21st century, as opposed to the 1950s.
GOOOOOOOD DAMNIT
Nah, Theranos is a very famous current example of fraud.
As someone who is not versed in these matters, I am serious! Clearly I have never had truly good donuts.
Ive never heard of this. Is this, like, the gritty version of Mrs. Doubtfire?
These are your father’s takes. An elegant take, for a more.... civilized age.
Ehhhh he’s pretty much the main actor.
Yeah, what I’ve learned over the past day and a half is that I don’t know shit about Canadian donutry.
