Some people at my job do not have the luxury of choosing a manual car, for instance I work at a dealer and a gentleman has a 3.8 Genesis Coupe with an auto and the manual is fantastic. He has ONE FOOT but races the car at local auto crosses.

I bought my 86 in NY with a manual, had to search for a week through the dealer to find the right color/trans combo. Autos everywhere!

That plastic part looks like the top to a wiper blade.. where it may click onto the arm as a safety latch? 3/4" sounds right
