In high school, we only had to participate through sophomore year. It was a very diffferent experience from middle school. We basically had free outdoor time, the only requirement was that we had to be active. So no forced dodge ball etc. It was nice, especially since we knew it wasn’t going to dominate all 4 years. 

I broke my coccyx and still had to do the Presidential! That “standing long jump”...nope. The only thing I could do was the “V sit and reach” because I was flexible.

I agree on Lupita, I’ve never been disappointed in her choices until now. I love her in bold colors, so I think that’s part of it for me. The weird sleeves also confuse me. Maybe it was a case of her wanting to break the mold a bit and not quite hitting the mark. I look forward to seeing what she wears for the Oscars.

Yes, very much so. There’s a doc on Netflix called “The Ted Bundy Tapes” and it’s fascinating. One of the things they focus on is how hard it was for those around him to believe he was capable of violence because he was "one of us" aka, educated, charming, good looking. 

I can’t speak for anyone else, but that was the age range where I was totally self conscious and uncomfortable with my body. If someone had strip searched me at that age, I’d have been mortified. Those poor girls.
