I think it depends on what aspect of dermatology the doctor focuses on. Some are definitely more geared towards the cosmetic, but many others deal with complex issues that impact patient health (beyond skin cancer screenings) and usually consult regularly with other specialists.

Exactly. That’s a win-win situation, hairdresser gets free advertising, client gets free or discounted service they might not otherwise splurge on. Healthcare isn’t a splurge service (well, it shouldn’t be...)
