Oh man. I bet I’d be so much better at the logo turtle now that I have an adult brain that comprehends basic mathematics and geometry.

My guess: Eco mode, similar to what the Leaf has. In the leaf, it reduces output to something like 70 hp and remaps the accelerator so it feels like you're driving through molasses (or like you're driving a Prius!). Take the 300~ish hp Tesla down to 100 and you could save some KWh.
