Weve passed the point where you’re the real bigot if you accuse someone of homophobia when they say gays shouldn’t adopt and where you’re the real racist if you point out someone’s racism. We’ve now fully moved into if you mention someone’s sexual assault you’re the real abuser who should be ashamed.

And this is the worse gaslighting I’ve seen. Using a question about sexual assault to “make news” ... at a NEWS conference. Did she think the girl didn’t really want an answer to that very pertinent question?

Does that mean Trump isn’t real? Please, please, please.

You seem to confuse democracy with liberalism and progressive beliefs. Millennials are more progressive and liberal than older generations, yes. But they support democracy less than older generations do. This is what the article is talking about.

I would also like to add the Ali Forney Center, which helps homeless LGBT youth in New York City find housing, jobs and proper health care.

Same at my work. I’m an exec, and I wear a ton of the stuff, but plenty of our other female execs never wear makeup.

Personally I like the “mindlessness” part. It relaxes me, I always look my best when I’m at my worst tbh.

I don’t wear makeup most days to work because I’m a high school teacher and I have to wake up around 5 am and don’t care what a bunch of teenagers think of my face. But I always wear it to go out and do other things.

Its time I focus only on myself.

I asked my wife this question.

I’m convinced I’ll never get much better yet I still try and try. I am beyond jealous who has their eyeliner skills on point. If I was better at eyeliner I would probably wear more makeup so I could show off my sweet skills.

Hell yes. Some days I need the little confidence boost & putting on a prettier outfit or doing my hair/make-up can go a long way. Everyone needs to treat themselves & for me it’s splurging on some make-up & beauty products.

There is nothing quite like dropping some money at Sephora on my millionth black eyeliner. My Christmas list this year consists of a lot of Colourpop, Sephora & beauty items. So I’m pretty much dying for Christmas morning to roll around.

YES.

I think of makeup as paint for my face. I’m artistic in general so why wouldn’t I love “paint for my face”? I feel sorry for men because they aren’t culturally allowed to play with face paint whenever they want! Cute story, my girl doggie is INTO watching me put makeup on. She has stolen and eaten more than one beauty

Word. I don’t wear makeup (allergic to so much of it and I don’t how to apply it), but after the election I wore my new velveteen/velour leggings for days. They were so pleasing to touch and made me feel better. Sometimes you just need that little oomph to get through the slog of a day.

No, totally get it. I think the uncanny valley can be rather subjective. For me, personally, anything not cartoonish that has human features freaks me out. It’s the eyes that get me.

I corrected him* it just was in the greys

It's an American movie where you pixelate the penis and show us the chestbuster... ;)

Would Prometheus have been a better movie if all the scientists portrayed were a bunch of tight-assed science-nerds who never took any risks and were obsessed with the "scientific method"? NO. So shuttup about all the science-criticism. It was a great piece of entertaining movie-making.
