I, too, was strongly concerned when I learned my boyfriend had never seen Grease. I remedied it by taking him to a Sing-A-Long screening. The sheer Grease-ness of it made up for his years of missing out, in my opinion. ;)

Fear not - Disney Store dolls are made by Disney Store, so they are unaffected. This only applies to licensed product (e.g. Toys R Us, Target, so forth). And in my personal opinion, I agree with you - the Disney Store dolls are nicer.
