Yeah, what is going on with her eyebrows? Is this the new look in eyebrow beauty, and I am just not cool enough to know about it? Even if it is, it seems (IMHO) very out of place with the rest of the styling of the film (i.e. everything else is in that fairy-tale time period style).

YES YES a thousand times yes. The Mary Martin is what I grew up on, and I just love it. Wonderful in every way. But most of all, Cyril Ritchard as Captain Hook. One of my favorite villains of all time. Walken is like a sad sad shadow of a shadow of Ritchard's Hook.
