I feel like there is gold here in "artisanal stripper movement", but I am too lazy to write that post myself. Maybe somebody else will come along and write it, and then I can just give them stars.
I just LOL'ed at your perfectly-on-point example of vodka getting "accidentally spilled" into the club soda. I am stealing that and using it from now on when trying to explain why I get so peeved at folks who can't just own up to whatever it is they like to do.
I want to read more stories about your hardXcore 17 year old days because you perfectly captured what it is like to be that age (and that badass, of course). God, I'm so glad I made it through being 17.
I actually looked at the photo before reading your post, and I saw that word 100% as "failing". So there you go. (I do like your solution though!)
I was obsessed with Natural Born Killers when I was 18 too. :)
Wow, that is really cool that they had a "smoking" billboard effect back then. I love imagining the crazy geniuses that came up with this idea. That's actually incredibly clever. We always forget about those bits and pieces of the past that were far ahead of their time (or at least ground-breaking in their own way).
My brother & I had these dolls when we were little. I had a female drink & wet doll, and he had a male drink & wet doll. Both were anatomically correct. We played with both, liked playing with both (especially making them drink & wet, because cause & effect is fun no matter what the effect is), and weren't…
Good god I love you right now.

This is the most awesomely inspiring thing I have seen all week. Time to double down at the gym and stop telling myself "it's too hard"!!!
I never thought about it that way. That's a good point...
Because I didn't love Ikea enough already!
Maybe he said "political correctness" because he thought it was meant to indicate political-neutral bathrooms? (by indicating both the red & blue, i.e. both Democrats & Republicans can use this restroom...in his mind).
I love you so much right now.
"Why is the torso so big and the dress so small"
I just had the exact same experience, only it was two voices both inside my head. But yeah. WHYYY.
I agree completely with this award for the Habit burger. I've never liked fast food (or "fast casual") burgers at all. But the first time I had a Habit burger, all I could think was "Dammit, there goes my snobbish disdain of fast food burgers 'cuz this is a damn good burger."
Exactly everything you just said. Exactly.
This is the most perfect gif for this moment. It sums up my reaction like nothing else could.
