Yep, people sometimes get confused (and sometimes purposely so, if it serves their purposes) when I use analogies in this fashion. It's funny because it makes such perfect sense in my mind to process ideas like this, and try them out with different lenses to see if they hold water.

Actually...that's a surprisingly strong analogy! Just in terms of clarifying the difference between the two sorts of interviews/conversations. Funny how sometimes taking something to a totally separate realm can help tease out the intricacies.

Well, it made perfect sense to me...the implication is that you should extrapolate to apply the general logic to whatever time you might be leaving work, minus 1 hour. "4 pm triage" is simply a more concise summation of the concept than "1-hour-before-you-plan-to-leave-work triage". IMHO.
