I think what makes the blinking so creepy is that it's too slow. Real eyelids blink so quickly that you never see them mid-blink. His eyelids are moving too slowly so it makes him look like he's drugged and/or contemplating horrible things in his mind that cause his eyes to glaze over.

I'm so glad she wrote this letter. I must have written in my head a thousand times as a little girl, playing with LEGOs and hating hating HATING how all the TV ads showed only boys with LEGO sets. Not a single girl. I wanted to write them and tell them how pissed off it made me.

Well...in all fairness, several of these characters actually ARE prepubescent (based on their ages in the original films). For example, the male Snow White looks prepubescent, but Snow White was only 15 years old. And the male Ariel also looks undeveloped, but Ariel was only 16 or so.

What is sexy about showing a padded bra to the camera? I don't mean a padded bra with boobs in it, I mean the shots where girls are just holding up padded bras to the camera like "hey look how sexy this bra is".
