@Slinkytech: I'm sure those are coming. The point is that this is a step in the right direction, not that it fixes all the evils of DRM.

@Jironimo: The operation failed on Nip/Tuck, its worth noting.

@Nona: That's not entirely true. The F-35 was designed for maximum possible parts commonality to ease maintenance restrictions. And even so, since one of the versions (the V/STOL F-35B) is so radically different from the others, difficulties are bound to creep into all variants. This problem was seen 40 years ago when

@A.Jaswal: Your basic point is right. I think the fear has always been of a saturation bomber attack over the arctic, but if the worst ever happens with Russia, I think we all know i'd be the ICMB's that get us.

@The_Vitto: OK, I agree with you there, since thats exactly what I did. But even with iOS 4, we don't actually have to worry about killing whole apps, because the multitasking system only lets certain functions run in the background, not the whole app.

@The_Vitto: Nothing like that has ever happened with my 3GS. I just got back from a 30 hour long business trip during which I didn't have to recharge once. It may have helped that I was in Airplane mode for a solid 8 hours, but still.

@A.Jaswal: Because of the new commenting thing that went up, I'm not sure if it's kosher to comment on a rant, but...

@Korrupt: OK, thanks for clarifying.

I don't understand the objection to commenters posting their dissatisfaction with an article. As long as the criticism is meant to be constructive, and makes at least some sense, why shouldn't we discuss content publicly?

@BobFraggle: Yeah, my little brothers that way too. I've seen him fall headfirst through a plate-glass window and come up unscathed.

@BobFraggle: I think you mean "power scooter" instead of "walk".

@Architectin: I think thats the point. They're trying to see how many days you can last with people staring at you until you lose it and spread excrement on the inside of your bubble to shield yourself.

Awesome. I'd do this if I lived anywhere near Chicago.

@NVJar: No. I think it's going for humor and just fails.

Honestly, is it just me that thinks this sounds straight out of The Onion? It's perfect - Midwest setting, lunatic parents, over-reacting school officials and DEA officials, and a few stupid kids who actually thinks that this works.

@akumaserge: I usually just get a rush from that.

@bigbenxxx37: Yeah, but OSX has had 10-11% for around 5 years now.

Why not actually, you know, grow plants on them? Like ivy, lichens, or moss. I doubt you would have to tweak the design much, just make it wider and flatter, with a place for the plants to attach.

The guy who made this could use some tips from the Oatmeal. [theoatmeal.com]

@themightyspitz: Actually, the 'roids would have shrunk Barry Bonds twig and berries, not inflated them.
