I can't stand the lack of content for the iBookstore, so I almost exclusively use the Kindle app. This also works well because I can pick up my place on my iPhone and Kindle 2. And yes, I know these functionalities will be coming to iBooks with iOS 4, but that doesn't help the dearth of content.

@iamthejae: Yeah, it's like baseball. I love baseball, but most of my foreign friends can't stand it - they think it's too slow. And they can't understand why I don't like soccer. So to each his own, and I'm thinking sporting preference has a lot to do with the environment you grew up in.

The broadcasters could pipe in sound from a sporting event without those awful things. Or the stadium authorities could just ban them. They both work fine, so long as I can watch soccer in peace without my eardrums being attacked by angry bees.

What a horrible noise. I tried watching the USA-England match, and since I'm not a big soccer fan to begin with, I could only handle about 20 minutes of the aural assault.

@mjt308: I just played with it for a while, and I don't see that much of a difference.

How pointless. Palm already tried building a device whose only purpose was to supplement a Trio phone, and how well did that work out? Granted that was a notebook form factor, but still..
