I agree with this. Compared to some of the other characters in this show, Qyburn's not really evil, just very morally grey. And I don't think Qyburn wanted Pycelle dead, I took it as Cersei wanting an extra special death for him.

Almost useless trivia for anyone interested: With the deaths of Pycelle and Loras, there are now no recurring characters who have appeared in every season. There are only 13 characters total who have now appeared in every season (assuming they all show up in season 7), and something like 18 or so characters from…
It's equal to the Red Wedding with three series regulars killed (Margaery, High Sparrow, Tommen), but when you add in all the recurring characters it's the deadliest by far.
I believe you are referring to an episode description that was confirmed to be fake. The real episode description only said "Cersei faces her trial".
I also assumed that each location is done by a different person, but that's not the case. Each director did everything in their two episodes.
At this point, there are certain characters who are clearly important for the end game of the show (Jon, Dany, Bran, Sansa, Arya, Littlefinger), and so its understandable that they can't die yet (although they certainly could by the series end).
Isn't that the point of the show? That no one is completely monstrous? The show treats all of its characters, even the villains, as three dimensional human beings, and makes us understand them. This does not change who they are- Healy is still clearly not a good person- but to automatically conclude someone is…
One small correction- Tormund killed Smalljon Umber, not Harald Karstark. I don't think it was actually showed what happened to Karstark.
I've also wondered how much they knew about Greer from the start, especially considering how the actor is the creator's uncle. You probably wouldn't hire your relative if its a minor role.
Agreed. There are many reasons why she won't (and shouldn't) show up, but there is just enough to make you think she still might. I could even see it being the very last scene of the season.
I had never thought that Nathan would be a secret baddie, but I did think for a long time that they would somehow reveal he was still alive. A lesser show would have, and I'm glad Person of Interest knew better. And as a LOST fan I was always happy to see Brett Cullen come back for some flashbacks with Michael Emerson.
I think Lady Stoneheart was silly in the books and don't want her in the show, but I'm not quite ready to say she definitely won't happen. It could be that they are waiting for a character with a better connection to Cat to be present to see the reveal, like Sansa or Brienne. So if either of them meet up with the…
Exactly. There is no legal basis for what AMC is doing. If it went to court they would lose, but as the post says, legal defenses cost money. Its just a form of bullying.
Two of the guys the Hound killed at the beginning were in the last episode with they guy in the yellow cloak, so the Hound did know they were part of the massacre.
The Spoiling Dead Fans just posted that they will not reveal who was killed because if they do AMC has promised to sue them for copyright violation.
I don't mind 24 focusing on a different character, or even not having Jack if Sutherland didn't want to come back, but I'm annoyed that this is a complete reboot with purposely zero characters from the original show. All that's left is the real time gimmick. What's the point?
Well obviously I meant other than comics. My point was that in the current age of the MCU and the Arrowverse, making a bunch of Saturday morning cartoons all interact with each other was ahead of its time. It would be even more popular now than it was then.
I want nothing more than more shows set in the DCAU. Timm, Dini, and company did the who "interconnected superhero universe" thing even before Marvel. Instead we keep getting these separate DC shows that get cancelled after one or two seasons, and may be good, but not as good as the DCAU.
It's included on Amazon Prime if you have it.
I wonder if they did the cold open just so the reveal wouldn't be spoiled by seeing Rory McCann's name in the credits. As someone who usually watches the opening I appreciated the reveal being a surprise.
