I had read a false spoiler that Rosita would be getting the arrow. It actually helped because I was so focused on Rosita, Denise getting it took me by surprise. Otherwise I would have known what was going to happen since the show wouldn't kill a regular when it could kill a guest star.

He was the guy and his wife that Daryl met in the burned woods. They were running from the saviors and Daryl offered to take them to Alexandria, but they stole Daryl's bike and crossbow instead and tried to escape. This was in Episode 6.

Well they already tried to kill Daryl, Abraham, and Sasha. I think its clear they are supposed to be bad.

You probably know this, but in case you don't, DeMunn was good friends with Frank Darabont, and didn't want to continue with the show after how terribly Darabont was treated by AMC executives. If not for that I'm sure Dale would have lasted a lot longer, and might even still be around.

Why risk them not going? That seems like something you would want to hide from other groups.

Zombies using rocks was only in the very beginning, and that was done by Frank Darabont over Kirkman's objections (in the comics they can't do that). Once Darabont left the zombies were changed to having no minds at all. Its the same reason why the CDC storyline has not been mentioned since season 2, a lot of that

But fire has always attracted walkers on the show. And distracting them made it easier for everyone in the town to work together to kill the rest.

What annoys me is that all this time the reviewer has been complaining about how the show is just dark, depressing violence that never ends, and then complains about an episode that offers hope and sense of optimism. This was a good episode for the reasons you mentioned.

I agree. Although to be fair to the show its AMC's fault for scheduling it that way. The show creaters have no control over that.

The show shoots from May-November. This episode would have been filmed before the season aired. It was not a reaction to audience feedback.

That's cool. Even as a fan of the show there are episodes I think are awful, just not this one.

Well I think most of the show is different enough from the comic, so I was ok that this was pretty much the same. It's not like they could change the ending and have Alexandria destroyed. I like that they had everyone fight together like in the comic.

I have to say I expected this to get higher than a B-. After all the complaining that this show is just bleak, depressing violence with no sense of hope, and after all the complaining that the people from Alexandria are too dumb and ineffective, this episode solves both problems by having everyone, including the

Well the book was hilarious, which doesn't necessarily mean the movie is any good, but it's a good start.

After just watching the trailer for Elvis & Nixon I can't wait for Penn & Chapo. There's even the picture of the two shaking hands to recreate for the movie.

Yep same here. I think Christopher Nolan is a great director and love every one of his movies. Take that, A.V. CLUB

Which is why I said on the whole SNL had better recurring characters. I didn't like Wiig's characters either. But personally I could never stand Stuart, Miss Swann, or the Vancome Lady. There are plenty of SNL characters I like, but I can't think of any MADtv characters.

To me, SNL on the whole had much funnier recurring characters than MADtv. Recurring characters on MADtv I mostly found annoying. However, because MADtv never relied on the same game show/talk show formula SNL does, it always had the more interesting, unique, edgy, and all around funnier individual sketches and comedy

I agree completely. And I don't even mean that in a dumb fun or a guilty pleasure kind of way. Its a real good movie. Great action and humor.

As a comics reader, I will say that for those who did not like this episode, the events that will probably happen next episode may redeem it, assuming the writers don't mess it up.
