I recall the reviewer for the Marvelous Ms. Maisel complaining the show did not address the plight of minorities during the time period. That’s not what the show was about?

The reviewer already has their required script in place, even down to the casual ridicule., and the pattern of when it doesn’t fit the pattern, it’s part of the pattern.

My fave (not fave) was when the Outlander reviewer incessantly complained that a historical romance series for middle-aged women that dates from 1990 didn’t have enough queer representation.
