I’m gonna have to get on that there intraweb and use the AOL Searcher to even find out what that is.

Anyway, the riot bot is not a Transformer, as in the toys/cartoon that you may remember from the 80s that turn from vehicles and other things into humanoid shapes.

Bernard meant, like, electrical transformers, the kind that were right behind them and that react poorly if they were shot. Coincidentally, not two weeks

Bernard: “You’re a copy. Sorry. I had to make you rather hastily”

He’s #279.

I thought this was the best episode of the season.

I thought this was more of a solid B. Even though Caleb is the third character to get the Delos Treatment, he’s still sympathetic enough where you’re not thinking, “Yup, he deserves this.” It’s paying off his character from last season and this season. And though I’m starting to go the other way and not hate-on Aaron

The Woolsey Fire got it.

Off-topic, but I commented last week that Tessa Thompson’s look during that whole waltz-in-the-streets scene - with the white dress, slicked-back immaculate pony-tail, and hoop earings - seemed like she was channeling a certain smooth operator from almost 4 decades ago. Oh hi!

The execution on that was great, a real Oh No moment... that was undone a few minutes later when they came back out of the building and all those extras were just gone. No still-ongoing fight, no piles of crumpled bodies, nothing but our rebel friends free and clear to run off. Really liked the episode outside of

I just want more Ed Harris making awesome Ed Harris faces

I think we're at the point where it can be safely said this is at least a vastly more interesting season than the third season was. It could all fly off the rails, but at least these are fascinating ideas for the show to be doing this season.

I love getting reviews sent back in time from people in the future who’ve already seen the show. Very helpful.

It’s fun as hell

God I miss those “Next Time” clips from Mad Men.

Blazing Saddles got away with some stuff that’s problematic by today’s standards.”

I’m sure they are happy to be rid of her and the bad reviews.

The only thing her castmates care about is how long the show will run. They’ll be thrilled that after terrible reviews, someone else is jumping in, hopefully with some good publicity, and hopefully will keep them employed.

First, it was great to see Zahn McClarnon reprise his role as Akecheta. He’s a great actor and it’s good to see him enjoying success with Dark Winds. Akecheta’s story was the most moving part Westworld Season 2.
