Busted!

I resemble that comment!

I am beginning to wonder, given the considerable popularity of this series, if new generations are going to have a fleeting but fallacious grasp on this 50+ year history of The Royals? Like myself, a great majority here likely Google almost episode to check the facts. It’s almost required given how loose the series

I don’t disagree, but I have always drawn a line from silent films and talkies as far as remakes as I could never compare screenwriting to title cards dialogue. Just too big of a leap.  But sure  I read somewhere years past that over 300 films were made from silent films into sound remakes in the 30s and 40s which

Did you even read my post?

I love these guys. And I’m an old.

Off the top of my head, True Grit, as you mentioned by the Coen Brothers was better than it had any right to be.  Immensely entertaining.

Honestly, this is one of those films that, no matter the intent, should never be remade. I am literally peeling from memory original films that were remade that should never have been attempted: Rebecca, Psycho, Casablanca, Lady for a Day, Lost Horizon, Red Dust, Around the World in 80 Days, Time Machine, The Women,

Charles is a spoiled, selfish, wally, insufferable, berk, prat, numpty, knob-head, billy no-mates, cocksplit. There, I said it.

I thought this episode was great. It worked spectacularly well and it all rested on Tom Brooke’s shoulders. I only recall him as one of the oddly affecting angels with cowboy hats as big as Dallas on Preacher (when it was fun). He was very appealing in Preacher, a compelling alien presence, but in this episode of the

Of the four children, Princess Anne for me is the most intriguing. The casting of Erin Doherty proved remarkable luck because I still cannot get over how similar in appearance. Plus in a very short amount of team, I felt her pain. After the show, I took a deep dive into her story and it was even sadder. I am glad

Thanks for that link!

Well that’s a shame.

Irony and karma at its finest.

Hugh Grant pretended to write for Horse & Hound to get to meet Julia Roberts.

Caroline definitely nails what aggravated me with this episode. There was far too little attention on just how culpable Prince Charles was to the entire Princess Di tragedy. The show always tries to paint the Royals as beholden to the entire theater of Monarchy and its “rules” but Charles clearly never felt all in on

Transformers, Transformers, Transformers, Transformers

Myles, with your (Explicit Spoiler tags) I think us newbies won’t be spoiled. Advantages of being said newbie, I thought the Witches having the ability to turn into smoke was very effective. Not sure what it upends going by statement “it makes them too powerful”. The CGI was well done, certainly improved ten-fold

I wish these tech type issues were written a bit more clearly for us olds.
