Pffft, December 25 is the day after Christmas over here, so I would've thought using December 25 as an alias for Christmas would be just wrong, so I'm not complaining.

Seconded.

True, but the only comment on Gizmodo's link to this article on FB was 'Racy'.

Absolutely true. But do you really care? Let's say you aren't as cheap as you seem and buy a phone for $300, if the phone would've cost $297 without a charger, would that really have made a significant difference?

Seriously, this is "racy" in the US? Are you just being sensationalistic?

As you say, if that's the case you probably should use a screen protector instead of a case. Which I have no plans on getting myself, but at least it doesn't look as ridiculous as a case.

"Geeez.. do you really think that the charger that comes with your phone is FREE?"

Well, you could also stop placing it on gravel. More seriously, unless you got a fair amount of SAND (and that's about the only thing I can think of) on your desk, that shouldn't be able to happen.

"iOS Encryption Is So Good, Not Even the NSA Can Hack It"

Yes, random person on the internet, I'd have a hard time guessing those things off the top of my head. But who knows what some research could result in? Read the article if you haven't.

"The "last 4 digits of your credit card" method is pretty much a cross-industry standard."

A tiny amount of the phones on the market might look slightly like the iPhone, not all of them. And thank god for that.

You mean... as revolutionary flatscreen tvs with black borders? Lucky no one copied that one company that first did that.

Yeah, it absolutely is! Who knows how it'll look like in 3 years.

Of course I wouldn't want that, but that's too simple of a comparison. If I'm earning $10000, then I can probably survive it. If those $500 is necessary for me to keep doing what I'm doing (and I like doing it), then I'd just have to adapt to the situation, wouldn't I? Plus: 500 pirates does not equal 500 lost sales.

What shit? I don't see any info actually suggesting that people actually pirate on a large scale, just that the developers believe that's a good reason not to develop for Android...

You can just as easily flip this the other way around: iOS can't have nice things because Apple won't let you. Because you're stuck with whatever Apple lets you have, get it?

That they did, that they did. Think it was a weight limit or something on it though. Either way, when I say build something myself I'm thinking grander than that...

Flamebait?

At some point, I sure would like a nice TV stand, where you fasten the TV and hide the cables behind some fake wall. Probably I'll have to build myself to be happy with it (from scratch, not Ikea), but until then a $50 one does the job.
