Sure, Gizmodo is probably a good place to send a set for review, but given how the VERY limited release (depending on how you choose to look at it) I'm not all that surprised.

"2800 x 1800"

I had a Vaio once, gotta say I agree with F1. An expensive, mediocre product.

Actually $999 is just what I meant. Here in Sweden many retailers are going bankrupt trying to sell TVs with minimal margins, whereas that $999 TV wouldn't get any cheaper and, given that people are sheep, would probably sell massively.

Except the reasonably priced part I totally agree. Given that TVs currently are so darn cheap, there's no way Apple is gonna fit into the price span "reasonable". They'll probably save the TV industry by creating a larger market for expensive TV-sets.

Well, as all references I've seen, except above mentioned movie, claims that he's a full on god, I'd say "act of god" is kind of a given.

Gotta agree with people here: wtf? As in, did this article really need this emotional outburst from you as a blogger?

Gotta agree with other commenters that it seems fairly stupid to tip with card. At least if you want to give the money to the dude that is actually delivering your food.

I got a Macbook Pro for my last job, it was slow as fuck and stalled a lot. On my new job I got an iMac, which after two days of use hasn't been much trouble except for Chrome locking up randomly, and I'm fairly surprised. Gotta love the touchpad though, it certainly has at least one thing going for it!

Had to change to laptop from mobile just to agree with the other comments.

Yeah, maybe if the screens are flipable, otherwise I can't see how this would be a good idea. It might happen, that's true, but probably more likely due to "why not?", than actually adding all that much value to the computer...

Well, no, not really. If it's a secure encryption method, lulsec don't have any magic they can do about it. Breaking good encryption: weeks. Exploiting weaknesses: minutes/hours/days. The method used above with a password being made up in a previous text message is not all that awesome, both being a plain text

Wow, being an asshole much? He certainly has a fair few of crap movies behind him, but this list is just ridiculous.

If you use XBMC or any other [trakt.tv] compatible media player (or just have spent days marking all the movies you've seen on the service), you can always use [traktimdb250.onenottoforget.com], or just the [trakt.tv] internal recommendations (even though I certainly would like a refresh button for those).

Wow, saw someone respectfully disagree with you and I'm not even sure I do it with respect...

While that might be true, the tag is abused though. First off, you're not really naked (as the title misleadingly says) if you're censored. I mean, come on.

Agreed! It put my engagement a good two years out of wack, among a lot of other stuff... But fairly cool and fast rendering though!

Great article! Glad to know I'm not the only one questioning all the ridiculous cases. Either you care for your phone, put a case on it and throw it in the ground all you like or you take care of it by throwing it in the ground. I'll take the insurance deductible any day over using a case, but so far I'm going on 3

Weird comeback. If you want to be taken seriously you should probably elaborate what you mean, as it's not really clear. And I'm not the slightest American.

Billion dollar company probably attends annual conferences one can assume, from those conferences there probably are keynotes online. And in those keynotes major overhauls of the UI might be covered. It's not that hard to assume stuff like this is available.
