As an aging Rockets fan, this game was a joy to watch. Harden gets crapped on a lot for some deserved reasons, but much of it is unjustified. Dude had a crazy statistic achievement tonight. Efficiently done in a competitive game. 4 steals to boot. 46 plus minutes played. Hater’s gonna hate, but that’s this year’s MVP.

Counter point: Steph’s a bitch.

Making the case for a players MVP by describing how bad his team is, seems, well, counter intuitive.

Harden elevated his teammates play all season long. Westbrook has hindered the development of all the lottery picks on their roster (there are 7 or 8) and ice’d out his vets, so that when the time has come for them to play without him, they don’t know what to do.

Russ’s fourth quarter, on court, stats are awful this series. He’s a negative 27. Harden is a plus 24. Might want to change your narrative bro.

Let me just remind everybody that Harden has two 50 point triple doubles this season. And his teammates actually seem to like playing with him.

Absolutely correct? The Rockets defense has been trending up over the past few weeks. They held the Warriors to no field goals for a 5 minute stretch in this game. They also forced the Warriors to shoot 1/11 from the field in the second overtime.

The Rockets just handled Utah with ease. Utah can’t score. Capela gave Gobert all he could handle down low. The Rockets just completed a two week stretch where their defense was top 5. They have had the toughest schedule in the NBA up to this point.

Texas is one state. Clearly you are from Texas. Have fun cheering for the TFL. Maybe you guys can secede and use the profits from the TFL to fund your Ted Cruz led military.
