Nine years later, I find this article and just have to laugh. I love Chase This Light - it's my favorite Jimmy Eat World album. A bunch of fanboys who loved Static Prevails moaning because it's not Emo enough for them - bleh. Both the title track and Big Casino are fantastic songs.

R/C Racers. Like you, I enjoyed the continuity, though I did not manage to get every issue including the last one. I assume Archie's team won, though. The Moose/Midge split was a nice twist, too.
I thought it was a semi-decent way to illustrate history for kids.
I remember a pirate one where Reggie was Captain Blackbeard (without a beard, no less) and Archie was somebody named 'Mr. Horatio' - supposed to be a klutzy Horatio Hornblower, I suppose. At one point, Reggie/Blackbeard actually made Big Ethel walk the plank because she was ugly.
