Most likely, Paltrow will play a racist, homophobic b!itch character who says terrible things, but it's okay because it's supposed to be funny and get GIFs all over Tumblr.

This kind of a post is why I love the AVClub.
But yeah, this just screams bad idea. Maybe if they decided to remake the movie as the first season, it would have potential. But as a sequel, without Julia Roberts, nah…
