Shit I would take it one further, I would bar anyone in the house and senate from sponsoring, participating or voting on legislation that benefits any company they own stock in. If you own stock in say Boeing voting for say a military bill that helps them gives you incentive to support that bill since if their stock

Having driven a Polestar 2 and recently seen their latest offerings, I really really like them and view them as an option.  Tesla on the other hand, has been removed from any consideration for years now.

I think you should be forced to give up your CEO status to companies when working for a Government entity that has direct influence on your businesses. Which kinda goes ya know, goes against laissez faire but idk.

Polestar is def on my list when we switch to full EV, I hope they stick around!

You do realize that shortages CAUSE inflation right?

I mean, I got my full option M240i w/ 60,000 miles during peak COVID used car prices for $26,000. If you got the time and can cast a big enough net I’m sure you can pick up a B58 powered, AWD, F-series Bimmer of your choice inside that budget. I didn’t like the dash of the G-series and felt that the updated exterior

It’s much bigger than the Equinox. It’s significantly bigger than even the Blazer EV. I guarantee the suspension is much different, the seats are bigger and more supportive, the motors are definitely not the same, the luxury features aren’t the same...

Pretty damn good looking, too. Nice job, Cadillac.

All it’s depriving us of is 30 year old Ford Explorers, which would have rotted out by now anyways. No one was mothballing those.

The lack of 30 year old gas guzzlers is what is driving up the price of used cars now?

Stop trying to apply logic to Trumpism.  They’re mutually exclusive terms.

So they are both lazy and cheap? No surprise here.

$9 isn’t even like one banana.

Since poor people aren’t paying this tax, and the rich are, and it’s designed to fix public transit I’m guessing you’re just outraged for the sake of being outraged and you haven’t actually applied any logic to your argument.

Financial burden of public transit compared to owning a car.  lol  First time I’ve heard that nonsense.  Thanks for the laugh.

I live on Long Island about 60 miles from Manhattan. I don’t particularly like the congestion pricing since I have to take a family member into the zone for medical appointments a few times a year. But since it went into effect I’ve noticed morning rush-hour traffic is substantially lower. We’ll have to see if that

For some context here: New York also previously offered to integrate their subway system with New Jersey’s, and New Jersey refused to do that too, which is why you have to take one metro from New Jersey to New York, cross a big ass lobby, then use a different pass to board another metro. Or you can do the same thing

Seeing as how the GOP seems to be big on States Rights when it comes to abortion, education, etc., I’d like to suggest they can stay the F out of NY’s policies on traffic.

I’ve spent some time in downtown NY and I couldn’t imagine wanting to drive there.  There’s no need, you can get everywhere on the subway.

Sounds like some SovCit stupidity.
