 A year ago I would have agreed with you, now that inventory has improved it’s not super difficult to score one at sticker or even slightly below. 

Does Elon even give a shit about EVs any more, aside from collecting his paycheck from Telsa? He’s deep in the MAGA woods now, and that’s not good for EVs.

Because trickle down economics just doesn’t work. They can never spend enough to stimulate and improve the economy, no matter the economic conditions.

It’s not all about EV tax credits. Remember that another Musk company, SpaceX, has billions in government contracts and would like more. 

I mean, it really shouldn’t be a surprise. Political campaigns are funded by corporations and the wealthy. Trump does not care one bit about the appearance of a conflict of interest or corruption. Of course Musk would want to back the candidate who will be the most favorable to him. He has things to gain from it.
