How did people WFH in 1984?

“show me 10 people who say they want a rail/tram line behind their house”

I plan to attend the LA games, but will take the metrolink from Ventura to downtown then transit to wherever I need to go.  F LA traffic.

Any state that’s banned abortion if you’re pregnant. Heaven forbid you have an emergency and need a doctor who’d be afraid to make a decision that could put both you and them in jail.

You’ll be surprised where we are in 2030.  5 years is both a long time but will be here before we know it.

2nd Gear: I abhor Toyota’s “electrified” campaign. I wouldn’t put it past them to include cars with alternators in their Electrified category, because their actual EV products are so uncompetitive they have to play marketing tricks.

Show us the Avant!

Ford really should make this an EV. 200 miles of range would be perfect for so many people, as this isn’t a long road trip vehicle. It’s an (sub)urban runabout.

I heard the Christians (TM) are trying to (have) made it hard for other christians (read: Black) to implement their Souls to the Polls operation. Go figure.

They did. See the 1.

Becareful.  Soon, the GOP will make it illegal to take someone to the polls.

THIS. This is why I became a quick EV convert. Since the soul was sucked out of ICE cars when almost all stick shifts were canceled, I said ‘fuck it, give me an EV.’

The PHEV is too much of a compromise. Give me a real wagon on a dedicated EV platform. No groaning ICE noises.

Disagree. It’s pointless to add even more cost/complexity to a car when the owner will never plug it in.

The V60.

I’ve got an iX. It’s better than the Model X.

The i3 did that as well in the range extender version.

Agree. But if you bought a Volt in 2017 you’re a special kind of person - the kind that knows what they’re doing and will do it to get the most benefit out of it.

You have to find a plug 5 days a week? Seems inconvenient and you should get a regular EV.

You suspect. I suspect the opposite, and that’s why companies aren’t divulging.
